Againt Computer lvl 7

Actually, I take my words about lack of inventiveness of machines back.

Going over the game again, I noticed at least two highly imaginative, fantasy-rich moves,

12...Ba3, and

23...Qg1.

But the biggest point of all is total depravity of the metal that implies that the cheap chips were completely unable to apprehend and appreciate and admire the beauty of the final mating pattern foreseen by the human player in advance, ready to sac for it. The only thing the poor, miserable, hampered metal thing knew was that there was no legal moves and a way out of it at the end.

Well, I think when computers apps are forced to dumb down, i.e. to play at a lower level of which they are capable, they often make non-human mistakes.  I missed what Simaginfan called a natural move on the opposite side of the board partially because I was concentrating on a direct attack on the king (the game wasn't times so I can't blame pressure). The comp conversely seemed to ignore lines that would probably have saved the game. I think that can be attributed to the dumbing down algorithm.

Computer analysis shows you at 91.8 % accuracy and computer level 7 at 46.6% accuracy. This makes no sense to me. I've played the computer at all levels hundreds of times and never seen level 7 accuracy nearly this low. What's up?

Regarding the brilliant move.

It is a move that the engine requires more analysis after the initial move. For example, if you have coach mode on it will usually say best move x, however if you go back and play the move it may suggest a different one. This is the “brilliant” move

This is the text that accompanied the painting I found online,

Game without End, Painting by Dragan Jovanović. It is in human nature, that is hard to believe in end. Maybe it is better just to play game without end, and try to enjoy every single moment of it. The reward will be great.

On the painting it reads in Serbian,

“Ne teče to reka, već voda. Ne prolazi vreme, nego mi.” Ivo Andrić (1892-1975) the Nobel prize in literature in 1961, Serbian novelist, poet, short story writer, diplomat
