beat Beth (17). Am i playing at the strength of an International Master?

What do you think?

I have no idea. I don't know any opening and play them like crap. When she played french and i played 9 bf4 I thought i would be crushed. It is my first game against Beth 17. Before i beat Beth 15 easily.

All the bots that I've played seemed overrated to me. Beating them is certainly satisfying, but I'd be careful about thinking it means much. You kind of answered your own question though "I don't know any opening and play them like crap". That's not IM strength...

So why is it 2400 and has a description of being IM? To make crap players feel better? I remember i played 2100 rated engine here long time ago and it felt much stronger. Basically crushed me all the time in the opening.

Not really beth bots are extremely overrated. Im sure chess.com did put them at that level to make new people at game feel better when they beat them, is that simple.
