My standard rating is way lower than before, it fell around 150 points playing this computer :)
I beat Computer-4 Impossible!
Great game logozar! It reminds me of this one I played recently:
https://www.chess.com/forum/view/game-showcase/amacing-victories-by-macer75?page=2, post #36, first game
Happens a lot of the time.
Because the game should be drawn by the 50-move rule but the computer doesn't claim it, that means that in its algorithms, every move should round out to equality (through the 50 move rule). Thus, it believes that giving the bishop is a draw (since if the engine were to play Kd6 and claim a draw the claim would be valid (Or more technically, stop clock, write the move down on scoresheet, get arbiter, claim 50 move rule etc).
Anyway, congrats!
@chesskingdremer, that helps the understanding but still seems a basic bug in the algorithms. It should be a simple fix.
Anyway, congrats
Generally the computer opponents' play seems to be solid, albeit with some moronic moves thrown into the mix every now and then (such as exchanging a piece for a pawn for no apparent reason at all). The lower the level, the more of such nonsense moves it makes. As this particular game drew out for very long, maybe time came to make a nonsense move even on level 4.
After many losses (and 1 draw) I managed to beat Computer 4 impossible!
