I've always thought the king's indian a risky try. especially against strong opposition! black's ambitions will either end in heart ache or in this case, a "pass me the tambourine" moment! :)

I love the 4. ... 0-0 line. Gives White more opportunities to go wrong:

Don't know about 9. Bd2, but it looks rather odd. Better is 9. Be3, to play with Ne1 and f3, to slide the bishop back to f2. The rest of the game the bishop is doomed to passivity. I think that's what lost the game for White.
