very good, but if you had taken Nxc3 on move 9 it still would have led to a win.
Post your best games!!
This is going to be an interesting one for you all to go through. I got one of the longest ranged queenmates I've ever had.
Nice queen trap! I think "post your best games" should be done differently though. I think it should only qualify as your "best games" when you beat a higher rated opponent. Anyone can out-play someone 200 points lower than them because they blunder so much. You should be posting Davis VS Goliath here, not games where you basically bully and outplay a novice. If you follow this guidline then mabye you woln't be posting so many games here.

The game I posted on the previous page was against a higher rated opponent (actually he was kind the same rate, arround 1800s too). Nevertheless, I guess he made some terrible mistakes, including his second move (1.f4 d5 2.d4?).
Anyway, in spite of his mistakes, I consider that it was one of my best games ever, due to the way I explored his mistakes.
ok, true that there is a show of skill in exploiting your opponents blunders, these are also the most fun to be playing. Here's a game againt a friend of mine from the same team I'm on. He's a great player and would probably beat me most of the time. However, this game he made two blunders and I was able to make the right moves here.
the above position came up in a tournament game against a 1624
this happened after he blundered off his queen
In Magna_Lucida's post #34, am I missing something obvious, or is 33. Qa7# checkmate foiled by both 33...Nxa7 and 33...Bxa7?
@Viktor quite a sluggfest!
good games folks...keep 'em coming!
here's my best win up to date....quite surprising I didn't blunder away the game in time pressure,like I usually do!
My favorite piece and color combination is the Mayan pieces with the red board.
