Will give the solutions to both puzzles if nobody can find the answer.

They are both beautiful but very hard puzzles.

I took a quick look at both puzzles.

In puzzle #1 I think 1.Nxa5 should be enough for white but it's not "very hard" so maybe I missed something

I saw a very beautiful position in puzzle #2 where white sacrificed his queen on h8 and trapped black's king and queen in the corner but I was one move too slow...

Riten, finding the move 1. Nxa5 was very hard for me as i had to "see" it about 5 moves before.

Yeah Ba5 wins exchange sac, rook for bishop..  3.. Ke8 is just wrong..  

Ok, finding it 5 moves before definitely makes it much harder

Yes, it is from an old game and somehow i got it wrong in position #2
