For well-written erotica, I recommend Anais Nin. She's a twentieth century writer, but she knew her subject and still translates well today.

Yes that's right. I got about a third of the way into the first book. Very badly written. Everyone told me how good it was and that I had to read it, so I bought it. My guess is that they wouldn't know a good book if it hit them in the face. It was c**p.
