annoying chess draws

I've never been pestered with draw requests- and I would NEVER resign a game like that....
just Play. beat him with checkmate.

Why would that be annoying? All you have to do is make a move.
True. And even though it's been explained many times in the forum, it's worth repeating: you don't need to pay any attention to draw offers if you don't want a draw. Making a move automatically declines the draw offer. Just like in over-the-board chess. Maybe the bold sentence above should be permanently inscribed next to the "accept draw" button.

on the other hand, properly responding to a person's moves. thats job #1 in chess.
ignore the draw requests, and make sure he doesn't draw with a trick (if your ahead).

3 fold repetition is part of the game. Its not sneaking anything in.

dude it IS the game.
once enough material has been lost,a draw is the ONLY reason to fight on. why is it reasonable for a person to fight in an equal position for a win?
yet they can't look for a tactic in a Losing position- to avoid the loss.
as I see it, its the same idea. its chess.

You should come up with your own chess variant, where 3 fold isnt part of the game.
If they can force a draw it is not a loss. That should be quite obvious.

Hope for a draw keeps a losing player going even if they can't win. Even more annoying is when you are a queen up and you play a stalemate, but then "you shoulda been more careful".

Please send me dozens of draw requests. The more to my advantage. I never notice them unless I want to ask for a draw myself.

On a related point, if you are playing an opponent in a three day correspondence game with, hypothetically, two knights and a king against your king only (all the pawns have gone), can you claim a draw since there is not enough material to enforce a win? Or do you simply have to keep playing on for the 50 moves (hoping that the computer might then enforce a draw!)? I think I would probably resign if my opponent wouldn't agree to a draw as life is short enough as it is.
