Are women allowed to call themselves just GM's ?

1. I don't want to offend anyone 

2. I don't want to discriminate anyone.

Few times I hear when asked a WGM , what is her rating or title she responds,  that she's a GM , which means Grandmaster = 2500 rating at least ! How can she call her self that if she has 2300 hundred rating only = WGM ! 

I mean her title is WGM and NOT GM , so in my opinion when they try to claim that they are a GM it's a fraud, lie etc !  She MUST say W ! I'm a Woman's GM , then no problem at all . 

If Alexander Kostenuik says I'm a GM - no problem whatsoever 

If Hou Yifan says I'm a GM - no problem whatsoever 

You know why ?  Because it's the truth!  

So are you allowed to call yourself a GM from now on? when you are clearly not . 

If so what if I go to an official website Fide online arena get an official title there GM (2000 rating requires ) and I will have an OFFICIAL FIDE GM title , which will be called AGM = Arena Grand Master and after that I will call myself just Grandmaster, it's official so !? Who cares about first letter A and rating 2000 ?  I'm a Grandmaster!

To the OP ... didn't you answer your own question? Only players who have earned sufficient GM norms to be given the GM title can be called Grandmaster. Even the articles on this site differentiate between GM and WGM for the current Women's World Championship. I don't think anyone would dispute that. I think I read somewhere that some women actually refuse the WGM title and take IM instead.

WGM = 2300 rating = FM ,  how can they take an IM, which is 24hundred plus norms , don't take nonsense
