If it helps it helps! The situations that conclude to having lost because of auto queen on are more rare than the situation lost by a second because it's off. Although still missing official statistics here, just assuming 😁

Also the stalemate concerns mentioned earlier are valid. If too many queens on the board it's what can easily happen. Then you start to hesitate promoting if auto queen is on to avoid stalemate and that hesitation is at least a second. So it can eliminate hesitation (when running to the finish line without worries it will take a second) but also create it. There are valid reasons to use it and reasons not to use it.

I might give it another shot for purely research purposes 😇 Just to see the difference, if bored on a rainy day (not today, but someday)... Then it's time for an auto queen day! After all I had a couple of fun auto queen moments yesterday despite the loosing streak. But I also have new appreciation and respect for anyone who promotes to other than queen in bullet particularly. Knowing this auto thing exists.

This result without auto queen! Still left out from a medal with missing one point 🤪 I don't know what it takes... 😭 Had 7 wins in a row at one point and leading, got the heartbeat again. I tried to embrace it and keep breathing. Listened to best of God of War soundtracks while playing. Still it was a good result and better than it has gone lately otherwise. Comeback moods!

I have experienced now about 2 times/day situations where I could have won if I had auto queen on (I still have it off). I can't name any situations where having it off would have been beneficial. This is just my experience and in 1 minute games. I am still having it off, but more open to having another trial day with it during the holidays. If you have it on in 1 minute games: I totally get it!

Oh and I had a laugh when someone promoted into rook in a one minute game and I think it might have been just to promote to something other than queen (or knight), there seemed not to be actual game logic behind it, it was just for fun I think.

Oh and pre-moving to a queen promotion was a disaster... I lost a game because that pre move was cancelled and that cost me a second and the game. Just as I thought would probably happen. Never trying that again. But at least I tried it once because it was suggested. Lol.
