Best books to improve repertoire against d4 such as QGD and KID

Hi all,

Looking to learn some actual theory against d4. I've actually been quite successful in recent games against d4 (playing solid openings) but don't know any actual theory. So it feels "luck based" and that I'm just going on "intuition". What are some books to learn QGD or KID?

Thanks!!!

"Looking to learn some actual theory against d4." ++ Do not learn theory.

"I've actually been quite successful in recent games against d4" ++ So no need to learn.

"but don't know any actual theory" ++ You do not need to.

"So it feels luck based and that I'm just going on intuition. ++ That is the good way.

"What are some books to learn QGD or KID?"
++ The best book is a data base with grandmaster games.

KID setup is pretty easy to learn and you don’t have to know any deep lines I think

King's Indian Defense has lines of more than 20 moves of theory.

Which is not relevant for people under 2000, we just need to know the fianchetto setup and d6 if they play e5, eventually going for a pawn break.
