Blitz game timer flashing

Ive just played a blitz game, then both timers started flashing. I refreshed my browser and it said I had lost sad.png

 

not happy....

 I work in IT for a living, I'm well aware of lag and bandwidth issues. 

Just annoyed that there was no warning and I lost the game!

 

I understand the reason for that option but its frustrating.

 

If it keeps happening then there's not much point in using this site.

Of course you lost if you got disconnected. What's the alternative?

If you didn't lose from a disconnect people would just start disconnecting on purpose when they fall behind.
