In blitz you don't have to play the best moves all the time. If your opponent is in time trouble just sac all your pieces and flag him.

I also use cheap tricks like placing my rook in front of the queen hoping that my opponent premoves the king in time trouble and then win the queen after that.

I try to play the best moves I can. Judging by this thread, it is a very novel strategy.

Have you ever watched GM Eric Hansen on stream? He pulls of some cool tricks to turn a game around. Exploiting the opponent's premoves is key to get more wins than usual.
Playing good moves is one part but knowing when to take risks is crucial as well.
I need help on blitz strategy. How to improve blitz rating? Can people help?
