Block List

Is it possible to access a list of people that have been blocked? For example, you might want to be able to maintain a reason for not interacting with blocked people in real life or, indeed, on chess.com, as it appears you can still be partnered with them, or paired against them, despite blocking them.

Go to Settings and then Blocking and you'll see the list of people you've blocked.  You shouldn't be paired against these people unless it's a tournament.

It would be nice to be able to add notes as sometimes I forget why I blocked someone happy.png

Ok, many thanks. Notes would be a good thing! I suspect it takes a few minutes, for the block to fully take effect, before they are removed from potential players.

I'm not sure.  I sometimes block people because I keep getting paired with them in live and I want to play other people (no offense to them!) and after I block them I don't get paired with them anymore.  It would be nice if I knew who they were so I could unblock them.

If you go to setting and then blocking it will ask you to type in 3 characters if the name does not come up continue to type in characters until you see the name once you have blocked someone it shows underneath the box you type in and beside the block name it should say Unblock.  Click on Unblock to remove the name off your list.

I experimented with this a few months ago, and as of that time, I found that it is possible to be paired in bughouse with people who you have blocked.

I know how to unblock someone.  My problem is that I can't always remember why I blocked someone.  Some I would wish to unblock and others not.  It chess.com allowed you to add a description to the person you blocked like "trolls forums" or "possible cheater" or "don't want to play right now" it could be easier to unblock.

They should have a no-partner list.  Experienced players generally don't want to partner a beginner who doesn't want to learn.  Also partners need to have compatible styles.
