Im playing a game against a 1500 rated player. He playes like a 2000+ player, with playing knight to a3-d2 all to the other side. Is there software to check for use of software or do I have to contact an admin?
Have you ever played a 2000+ player?
Let me know the game, I'll check with an engine with depth 20. If he would follow exactly engine's recommendations, then with high probability, he was cheating...I hardly believe that non FM at least would play exactly as strong as 3008 chess engine...
I better resign then, I got the habbit calling names :D
by Helicopter|||thats a good idea, but it sucks anyway (instead of playing chess), I better just resign like FridayKnight says.
What's to be gained by cheating, I wonder. The cheater's rating increases, but inside, they know that they haven't learned anything, and their game hasn't improved.(I find it hard enough to learn without cheating ;-)
This is one of the problem with on line chess. I prefer playing shorter games limit, less cheating than with turn-based games.
Cheating brings much greater rewards in a 5|0 game than in an Online Chess game.
