An interesting view point on what the game of chess represents. Might be a little too deep for chess.com crowd.

I saw something recently and it made me think so I wanted to share my thoughts. Whether you agree or not, let me know what you think. Here's my take.
Think of chess as two people building puzzles for each other—while trying to solve the one being built against them. Every move changes the board, reshaping the challenge. You’re not just playing pieces; you’re laying traps, setting problems, and forcing your opponent to think harder, deeper, faster.
At the same time, they’re doing the same to you.
The goal isn’t just to win—it’s to make the path to victory as difficult as possible for your opponent, while keeping your own route clear. The best players create puzzles that are tough to crack but easy to understand from their side. They stay a few steps ahead, shaping the future of the game with every move.
In that way, chess becomes more than a game. It’s a back-and-forth puzzle contest—a test of who can think better, not just about what’s happening now, but what could happen next.
