I agree but on all platforms. I've made bad placements due to hovering a piece around and accidently letting go... It's incredibly frustraiting.
Confirm Moves
That sounds like a good idea, but there should probably be an option to disable it during the game. I can't imagine being down to the last minute and the thing asking me "you sure you wanna upgrade that there pawn to a queen?" or "you suuuuure you wanna checkmate him?" With 10 seconds left.

Yes, I agree, but I think will be cool if you can toggle that confirm moves feature, like, a shortcut to enable and disable whenever you want

I concur
I respectfully disagree. In OTB chess you are not permitted to analyze by hovering pieces -- in fact if you touch any piece at all you have to move that piece https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touch-move_rule . If you find yourself accidentally letting go when hovering pieces, that should help to cure you of that habit.

Yes, you are right, but I think then it should be available this feature for friendly games, at least that Like, if this option is already on mobiles, then why should not be on PC too? There's a little advantage on mobiles because mobile players can use that Confirm Moves option, and if they press on the wrong square they can "undo" it, meanwhile the PC player can't. This feature it will be also good if will be optionally, and also available for long time games/friendlies
I think it would be a good thing to be added the confirm moves feature like on mobile edition, but to be available just for 10/10+ minutes games
