Discovering new tactics... does chess.com want them off us?

I think I stumbled into a great one, and it's 16 moves long!

so many force-ish moves.

I can't yet because it's in a game right now, but I was just wondering, i screenshotted the position and the sequence of #.

It puts all his remaining pieces out of action too, except his queen xD the rest are all stuck in or by a corner defending each other

I wouldn't mind seeing it too happy.png But i don't think chess.com collects tactics I think they have some computer generator one, and also all your moves have to forced and your opponenet has to play the best moves so you might want to check if it is forced on the computer anaylsis

Aha. Perhaps it would be good if we could submit tactics? Might be good for the site? I mean even any rando player could find something amazing occasionally. I will look at the analysis after the game / pos changes a lot and see if it thinks they were all either the best or forced moves.

Here's a tactic from one of my games. Chess.com can have it free of charge:

WOW!

Seems unlikely that a 16-move 'tactic' in a < 1200-rated game would have forcing moves and the best move played by both sides throughout.  Although I've seen plenty of tactics on puzzle rush where the opposing side doesn't seem to play the best move.

EvilAngelMagicwand

Yes, that is annoying in puzzles, because one always expect the best moves.. Seems childish unless.. Maybe it will be premium moves higher in the skillz of the puzxles, though?

i play a 16 move tactic every game called the grob

Yeah you're right. It was like a mirage, an oasis in the desert. It probably just was an illustration of how one bad pawn move could implement a disastrous chain of events.

Hehe.. Is that a way to tell us we don't get to see the sequense?😉😊 I was looking forward to it.. 🙂
