Do you check your opponents ears before playing in a tournament?

I'm afraid they will have a small Bluetooth ear piece connected to their phone. And they would be on a call with someone on a chess computer. They would just say each chess move out loud like they are talking to them self. The person on the phone would then put that move into the computer. It would be super easy.

While it sounds possible, it would be pretty obvious.
