Does anyone know how to convert grades to the ECF grade (English Chess Federation grade) from the FIDE grade (official international grade) and vice versa? I used to know the approximate system, but now the grading system for the ECF has been revamped.
Please note that I'm not asking for the actual perfect conversion formula: there isn't one as both of the grades are worked out seperately by seperate systems. I'm asking for an approximate formula which does the job.
