A lighthearted post for a Saturday morning.
Even though it's not a show about chess, I find that the anime/manga Hikaru no Go (about Go players) provokes me to approach my study with a little more intensity. In particular, the scenes in which Akira and Hikaru change their attitudes toward the game to chase after each other trigger an impulse to focus on the session ahead.
Anyone else have quirky personal sources of inspiration?
