you could use some vulgar out there then, it may be really helpful with the pirates.
How do foulmouthed players get away with cursing on chess.com?

Turkishlion, there is no "problem" here. Most users don't bother to report incidents because they don't CARE. I can't understand how this is so bothersome to you. It just doesn't make sense.

Waaaah... someone used pseudo bad language in my game chat and wasn't nice to me. I'm go cry now.
Or post a complaint for all to see
Gattaca, I'm sure that the people who made cruel comments were being stupid, but we cannot tell people what they can and cannot say. Obviously here on chess.com, there is no REAL reason to use profanity (though I curse all the time :)) but we cannot take peoples rights away and tell them what they can or cannot say and I will not support that. If you are offended by what someone says (which I feel should be IMPOSSIBLE on the internet) then block them, end of story, and you don't have to deal with it anymore.
Asking to be polite is taking rights away? ?

i know, i got called an ass-bandit lately and i don't get to practice my kung fu skills on the culprit, the bleedin internet is a disaster!
"Cyber bullying" is nothing more than a person being an ultrasensative sissy ALLOWING themselves to be affected by other's typing. Don't read it, or just know the typist is an idiot. Why are you affected by an idiot? You can't make an idiot smarter, trust me on that one. So ignore it. When I was a kid, bullying was "you are getting your ass kicked after school". Real bullying is a physical threat. If there was no physical action, I was very relieved. Whatever happened to "Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me"? Our society is becoming really soft.
And you'd better believe those guys knew how to swear. You have to understand this is before the invention of forum moderators.
