Well, a waterproof chess set is a start.
Try a magnetic one. They can't fall.
there's a photo, I'm not sure where I saw it, of two grandmasters playing chess in a swimming pool. One of them may have been Fischer, I'm pretty sure it was...I'm not sure who the other was...maybe Larry Evans? I'm sure someone here will know.

PDELA! Is it that difficult?
What? No "In Bed", Pdela? I'm very suprised that slipped your mind.

I actually prefer bed for everything ;)
thank you pdela!! I knew someone would know what I was talking about!! Is that Larry Evans?
Yes it really is Larry Evans who was Fischer's second during the match against Petrosian in 1971. This photo was taken in 1971 a few months before that match.
thanks for that background. I just looked it up. Fischer won the last four games in a row of the nine game match with Petrosian. I'm sure lots of people know lots about this, but I don't. I thought Petrosian was a pretty tough nut to crack...Bobby Fischer sure cracked him.
