How much of chess is luck?

DjonniDerevnja

If luck is winning chess, then this luck is built on the opponent making moves that is not excellent, but if the luck is getting better at chess, excellent moves from your opponent helps push your chess up a level.

Willy Hendriks in ”Move First, Think Later” discusses this. He says - even proves - that there is luck in chess. How much - who knows?

and thats the short and curlies of it. the more you send out the vibe, the luckier you are. you can see from some of the posts around here that some blokes just don't know how to send out the vibe to give the universe something good to respond to.

The weaker the players are the more luck right? Or is it the more equally matched they are there’s more luck?

Agreed.
