I agree! Simple advice on how to improve at live:

Have a plan. Play 30 min or slower games. Analyze mistakes.

How to Improve at tactics:

TAKE YOUR TIME It does not matter if you lose points if you learn. THink till you understand the problem! Trust me it works! I have improved a ton at tactics (1350 to 2150 in 7 months) :)

How can you be rated 2100 in Tactics but only 1300 in blitz? That just doesn't look right for some reason.

I have not played blitz for 6 months or so since I was ~1450 in tactics. I didn't take it seriously also in the last 4 years. I play Slow games and the rating is kicking in in 30 min games. Blitz messes up how I think.
