How to improve at tactics!

No need to read any book or to see any master game, or to know theory or something, if we assume you have the very basic understanding like queen and bishop battery. If not just come here and hit tactic training. Took me 0.3 seconds to spot it. Then it was clear i have to push e5 and his knight will be removed or he will lose a piece. If moved, i simply take on h7 and checkmate him next move.

In your example #1, I pushed e5, but was told I was incorrect.  Thankfully, bb_gum234 gave a truly terrific comment in #12.  Thank you both!
