I don't know.
Nf3 maybe?
Bc4 perhaps?

The opening does not matter; especially at your current rating.

Try to control center, don't hang pieces, avoid bringing your queen out early (or not), and maybe castle.

I wish you the best of luck in your tournament.

What I am going to suggest may seem crazy but i I am going to suggest a pretty dangerouys system. I would not listen to LM as he clearly knows no theory recommending Bc4 which is a bad move. Also preperation is actually key at lower levels just not as well known. I am going to recommend 2.a3   I know this sounds crazy as surely you should not move such an irrelevant pawn but c5 is not a developing move. It's idea is to swap a flank pawn for your cental pawn after d4. a3 prepares b4 even as a gambit to get the centre and sometimes a lead in development. Here is some analysis. ( Besides it should be a surprise and has been played by Magnus Carlsen)

the next is a game played by magnus

I hope this helps. Do not be scared. You will beat everyone if you play this

Control the center, develop your minor pieces, castle.

thanks everyone

For your level I would consider looking into the grand prix attack. It can be highly dangerous for black if he doesn't know what he's doing and the concepts for white are not that difficult to learn.

Advising 2.a3 to a beginner is like giving a racing car to someone with a fresh licence. Recipe for disaster.

Do not play anything you're unfamiliar with.

agree with Postafi "do not play anything youre unfamiliar with "

ask yourself also do you want an open or closed sicilian (d2 d4 or d2 d3 ), here bobby fischer chooses a closed sicilian

You have a beginner rating, so it doesn't matter. Just be sure to develop your pieces and castle. Don't try to launch an attack with only 2 or 3 pieces off your back rank. Bring all your pieces into the game, and look for tactics.

2.a3 is interesting. Not quite the same of course, but it makes me think of benko lines.

Be careful of c5, it controls the center indirectly and if it remains there, it can become quite a pain in the end game should the game reach that point. Whether you decide to deal with c5 or not (I usually go for an open Sicilian if I'm playing white) , keep in mind that the c5 d5 duo is a troublesome one for white.
