    How is he ruined ?  With Queens and three pieces off the board for each side the King needs to be active, not stuck in the corner.

    This is the standard demonstration position for the Smothered Mate.

    The common pattern here should be instantly recognizable to all good chess players. That's why you should work Tactics Trainer problems (here or elsewhere) and identify by name and pattern which tactics solved each one.
