Yes but how did he do this? Such a rating jump is unprecedented. I need to know his secret!
I had a 100+ jump too one day, but have fallen down again. The jump day I was fresh and well playing, I also played a friend thats higher rated and won 3-1. Its about focus. Some days we are better than others.
I've played SeanSean2, twice - I think it was tournament play? He played really well (I won, I think one was a bit of a blunder... but he's definitely way better than me). Also, we chatted, and I remember him as a genuinely nice person.
Beyond my personal experience, he's contributed a significant amount of discussion and analysis to chess.com, which helps us all. We've never met and I can't 100% vouch for the guy, but he's probably not the type to inflate ratings.
My suggestion (and this is kinda life suggestion...) If you believe him, congratulate the guy - support him, contribute something positive and leave the forum a kinder place. If you don't believe him, step up to the plate, challenge him to a few matches and hammer his rating right back down - this is chess, that's how we do it.

Check my profile - and no I did not purposely deflate my rating for this.
