Chess is definitely the best video game. It will take centuries for other developers to construct such video game equivalent to chess.
Okay, so I read the first page, not going to look at the rest, but I did not see anyone point out that you asked this question on a chess site. 
If you ask people who play Fortnite, I would bet 99% would say Fortnite, and since you asked here, 99% say chess. I do believe that chess is better, but s JanMur7 said, it is a matter of opinion.
