Why fuss and fight Chess is not dead,its played all over the World and for the folks that never learned the game its their lost!

I would not blame intellegence levels. I would go more for popular culture, the advent of the internet, bad education, moral values on the floor and general degradation of society as a whole. The kids are smart they simply aren't getting the right influences.
