I thought you weren't allowed to download chess.com videos?
That is correct. You can't, at least not to my knowledge.
System won't let you
got it working. thanx for replies. i have to use google chrome for some reason after installing flashplayer. poor internet connection where i am but i can deal with it. oh well......
Today is the first day I have been unable to watch videos using Firefox, though they load fine using Safari on my Ipad.
(text deleted) kindly stop telling people to download instructional videos on here
I don't think chess.com will be very happy. They're for paying members only.
There was no ability, even for Premium members, to download the videos for a short time. But this was due to an internal change in flashplayer, not a change of site policy. As already mentioned, premium members can download the videos locally using the last version of a Firefox addon, named Video Download Helper.
But how do chess.com know they're not being shared?
Oh, that one... They do know they are shared, but they can't do much about it, other than watermarking them.
Can you message me directly about this issue please?
