Betting 100 a day will get you only to a 36'500 wager.

Unless you really think the odds are a crazy 10/1?

It will never happen. First reason is that the site is US-based and that is illegal for a website. Second reason is that it would bring out unfair competitors.

psychopathkasparov

on the soccer betting thing, i can bet up to 10 games  a day sometimes i can bet a 1000 bucks if barcelona is playing those weak teams

psychopathkasparov

Are there no casino or lottery in USA?

Martin_Stahl

There are but online betting is against the law and gambling in general is regulated in local states.

I just read a bit about the UIGEA (which, as a side note, is a completely absurd thing to tack on to a bill about port security), and it says it makes exceptions for games of skill. What my non-lawyer self thinks this means is that it would be legal for the two players to bet on their own games, but illegal for third parties to bet on them.

Regardless, I agree it would be very contrary to the nature of the site and painfully convoluted to implement, having to coordinate a dance with 50 states + 5 territories + 3 free associated states + every UN member in which gambling is legal.

Chess.com "coders" can't even program a working diagram, what did you expected?

Knowing how to do a "hello world" shouldnt be enough to get hired as a coder.
