Share your profile pic and maybe tell us a story behind it or why did you choose or liked that particular one.
I start with mine (unfortunately I can't post a pic, mobile app) , so what you see in it, is what I got as my reward, after hard working for a couple of hours.
I've played one cocky guy who thought that he is the man, after about 3 and a half hours I prooved him he's wrong. 4000₽ = $70 dollars cash , which you see on the pic that I won that night. So i decided to put that pic as my reward picture in here.
Aw come on 2Q. Tell us the story behind your profile picture. Did you search it on google?
Don't be shy any picture can have sone sort of story even the one taken from Google
Yeah ok. Once this thread gets moved to off topic I'll post mine. Yes? Deal?
It's my baby girl's birthday this Friday so I changed my profile pic for a couple weeks for that, but usually I will alternate between the ones below. I found them just by typing "slow pawn" into google images lol.
When I was a kid, an elderly, grew-up-on-the-farm, neighbor of mine who kept honey bees had a watch rooster. This was one that didn't have the spurs on his legs clipped off and he was all white and bigger than a small dog and would have given any dog a tough fight with those sharp, long spurs.
We kids, being foolish, would climb over the 4-foot-high (1.25 m) fence into his yard and run to another section of the fence and climb out before the rooster could get to us.
My profile picture represents my constant desire to improve and a reminder not to get discouraged. When I was inspired to take lessons by the guy in the piano room on an Alaska Cruise, many laughed and said I was too old. I couldn't tell you where middle C was on a piano in my early 50's and didn't read sheet music very well. I began piano lessons with the goal of being able to read sheet music while playing it and I struggled for several years, humiliated by the fact my teacher's 12 year-old students played much better than me. My profile picture is of my triumph after passing a tough audition: it's me reading and playing the music for Chopin's Prelude in E Minor at the ACE Recital in the adult program of the world-class Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. I studied - and still occasionally take lessons from virtuosa Frances Cheng-Koors, now semi-retired and originally a child prodigy in Shanghai. At Peabody I eventually qualified for many ACE Recitals and, since the Peabody faculty and alumni includes many Grammy winners, I had the thrill of having famous people say my playing moved them, including Opera Grand Diva Hyunah Yu, a Peabody grad who comes back to the recitals and who invited me to an after-recital party. So my profile pic's message is: don't give up if YOU believe you have a reasonable chance to succeed. Here's me - before I lost 70 pounds - and the great pianist Lang Lang:
My profile picture is of a random internet girl from Google because I am really a man. All of us girls are really guys. Not just on chess.com. Everywhere. We're all guys. Girls aren't real.
Word on the street is that you're actually Susan Polgar.
try to impose a travel 🚢 ban on me, just u try😈
I will scratch your eyes 👀 out, Donald
Isn't it obvious?
I chose this avatar for two reasons, first it expresses my feeling towards my miserable chess playing ability. Secondly , my emotion towards the sad state that society has degenerated into ,generally. Alas there is hope...! I've left plenty of space on the bench for company!
I'm only stating a fact.
That's a shame, a broken camera.
is it still broken? my avatar is pretty accurate except that i'm a colored bunny.
