Pelikan-type positions, do you prefer white or black?

I like this kind of positions because, though not easy to play, the strategic ideas are much more clear than in other openings. White play is all about the d5 spot control, making sure to have always a piece, not a pawn there, otherwise the d6 pawn can´t be attacked by white queen and rooks. Trading the DSB for a knight on f6 is usual, in order to place a knight on d5 that couldnt be easily exchanged. On the other hand, black has to fight white center control with the typical flank breaks b5 and f5. In addition, as usual in the sicilians, black would be fine if gets to play d5 in good conditions.
