Playing CC in the best possible way

Hi all,

I have been playing chess for about a year on and off and realized that I like online chess or call it CC with a 3 day time control best for me and try at is the only chess I will play.

I really like to take my time and study the game while iI play it.

I know most the principles of chess, some openings and their ideas behind it am familiar with tactics and strategic ideas and end games.

However my idea is to focus most of my time, 1-2 hours a day on playing CC games and study all positions in depth.

Is this a good approach? My goal is to reach eventually a rating of 2000 here on online chess. I have no I tension to play live games due to connection issues.

Any pointers as how to maximize my learning of this great game through my mentioned method?

My one line I like to say to beginners is, "playing's the thing." Reaching 2000 here is an unrealistic goal, though. Just continue learning & playing. Your approach is fine, if learning's the thing.
