Post Your 2025 New Year's Chess Resolutions Results

2026 NY Resolutions:

1. FIDE Classical: 2000

2. ECF Classical: 2100

3. Lichess Blitz: 2600

4. Chess.com Bullet: 2600

5. Chess.com Blitz: 2600

Pretty similar to last year's except this time I'm gonna actually do it. Then 2027 I go for NM

I made two resolutions for chess.com this year.

1. To have fun. I succeeded.

2. To work on some specific openings that I had difficulty with. I succeeded.

pretty bad, i ended up getting banned for 3 months and accomplished 0 goals this year

Ok hold on a moment maybe you're right. I'm on a new peak and the 2500s don't seem so scary anymore

Oh dang, I don't even know my 2024 new year resolution.

Welp, this is my 2025 new year resolution

- Get 90% percentile in every time control (Not too difficulty ig)

- 1200 in blitz, maybe get a new highest >1276 (I grinded for trophies)

- Get better at rook and pawn endgames (cus I am TRASH)

- Become great at the scotch game (I like it, plus I throw much pawns in the incinerator)

- Improve middlegame (I just move pieces)

I think you easily do that. You've got +300 in 2 months
