But my real point is, sometimes courtesy trumps persistence over the chessboard, particularly when you're not playing for money. One can resign gracefully regardless of your elo.
For me any kind of post is at least 5 minutes of typing, even the short ones. Not really a native language for me, plus I do not like to have too many syntax errors.
Along with that, a different perspective and generation. For me 5 minutes is nothing, for many very young people waiting for 5 minutes is unbearable.
In any case, the point stands that playing on makes sense.
