Resignation

Does everyone else have the problem of not being able to finish a game because of opponent resignation? I can’t remember the last time I was able to complete a win before my opponent resigns. Is everyone here really that petty?!

Resignation in a lost position is considered good etiquette.

I can tell you’re new at this.

Yes I’m aware of the etiquette. But how does losing one key piece then bailing constitute good etiquette?

at lower rating matched, you should try to continue playing even after losing a piece.

Play 1 min bullet, I almost never see people resign those.

I never resign in bullet. I flagged my opponent so many times.

they realize they can no longer win and have an abysmal chance of drawing, so they prefer to save their and your time by enfing the game immediately

If I am REALLY in a lost position, I will resign so I can start another game. Why prolong the agony?!

Ew, lots of prickery on these boards. So what if OP were new? Feels like stackexchange over here.
