So what happens when you report someone for cheating?

Just reported someone for cheating, I am not sure if I did the right thing... but I am very suspicious. 97+% accuracy on almost all their game, at 450ish level, seems sus right?

What happens when you report someone? Is chess.com usually investigating these things? Do they revert the results of the games?

Who would waste their time cheating against bottom ranked players... whyyyyy? What is the fun in that?

It's not like they're going to look at anybody's reports. But you definitely did the right thing. One time I faced a cheater who searched up what to do and then I got some rating back. And you opponents is very sus.
