When people play off-beat openings it really drives me mental. That is why it was pleasing for once to punish an offbeat opening.
Stupid Opening duly punished.
Sort:
Well there is off-beat and then there is just lame. This was more in the lame category. Off-beat was perhaps the wrong word to use. A little too off beat was perhaps more appropriate.
What do you expect at your level? It's a good exercise to check you're not in opening autopilot.
I think you just liked the game and needed to share it.
So...gg for you lol

That game is like beating up a retarded kid. Yea...you won, but...
Beautiful job, Jayeshcetera. You exhibited great strategic patience, getting your pieces out and controlling the center rather than pawn-grabbing or fearfully responding to his queenside pawn roller. He wasted time with his premature attack, failed to control the center, failed to keep his king safe, and then, making Silman, Purdy, and Capablanca proud, you responded to his queenside attack with a counterattack in the center, ripping open lines to his king, and checkmating him based on principled play. Bravo!!
