The Tarrasch Chess GUI was updated on December 7th. It's free and now runs Stockfish 8 and the demo version of Houdini. New database.
I just downloaded it and it seems pretty powerful. I played a few moves (Bad ones) beyond the end of the Wesley So vs Michael Adams game and it found a mate in 27 pretty quickly.
You can find it with a simple google search if you want to give it a try. Easy way to get your hands on a decent chess computer for free.
