That is beautiful, suddenly chess makes sense!
Looks like that sengoku thing to me.
My highest USCF rating was 2026 in the 80's
I now live in a rural Florida town, and only get to play a tournament per year, which I usually fly somewhere to get to.
On the veracity of my "story", hey we can both put $10,000 in an Escrow account, and we can check with the USCF, and if my rating was ever over USCF 2000 *I* get the money, and if it wasn't, you get the money...
Heck, YOU GUYS can even name the amount in escrow if you want..The more in, the better for me....
BTW, I would have to be some kind of stupid to lie about something that can easily be checked on the USCF ratings website, as many have already done.
The deadline is past for further applicant's. Thanks all, and I will let the Forum know what the results of myself and the testers were when we are done.
Great! Hope its a success!
Finally! A 'get rich quick' scheme for getting good at chess. When you release your product, will I be beating Carlsen (let's make sure he doesn't get access to it.)? Will the arbiters mind me using a calculator, or will I do the sums in my head?
Any calculations can be done in your head.
I am hoping to advance players to the 2400 USCF / 2300 FIDE level.
Becoming a GM may be another story entirely, and I am afraid I would have to bet on Carlsen, in a match between him and my ideas...
The contestants are selected. they will be traveling to Iceland, and a Rocky type workout awaits them.
Why do I have the feeling that if I sign up for this thing I'm eventually gonna be looking at one of these?...
Because you've been talking to -kenpo- too much
Will it be available (only) on TV, for 3 Easy Payments of $19.95?
Best of Luck. Maybe we'll eventually see you on 60 Minutes.
If you send me $19.95, I'll send you a report telling you how
to get people to send you $19.95.
where to, beardog?
Zborg you forget one part of the $19.95 Easy Payments - one additional easy payment of your soul....muahhahahahaha
No, actually that's led me to seeing these things everywhere:
any updates on this? or is there anyone who has learnt this system?
Thanks in advance
It always feel a bit strange when someone creates a new account and the only thing they do is to comment on an old thread. Anyway, I doubt Gamebrain will respond considering he was last online 7 months ago.
sorry about the abruptness, just that i am curious about the meta chess theory. It will be good if Gamebrain posts again...
Were you curious about how the scam worked? There was probably a non-free element to the program that he got people to pay. Either that or he just sold their information to an ad company looking for people interested in chess improvement programs.
Just thought I would update this, as it was quite a while ago. No folks, this NEVER was a SCAM...8), and no, I never asked for any money in any way from any of the participants, nor did I sell their personal information or commit any other nefarious deed...8)
I DID get 4 or 5 willing testers. Unfortunately the project was a total BUST as none of them remained commited to the project and interest petered out quite quickly. Only one individual really took the ideas seriously and I believe he experienced some good improvement in his play. However, with just ONE person in the project, I am afraid that *I* lost interest...8).
For those reading this info for the first time, please do not contact me about renewing the project or working with me, as I have no interest in pursuing this project at this time....
If you have lost interest, then do you care to outline your Meta Theory publicly now?
