So much as saying the word "cheating" is enough for a lock btw, discussions of cheating are not allowed on the forums, there is a club for that

Premium members are automatically placed on vacation when low on time in one or more daily games. The member isn't likely doing it on purpose.
Unless they're using vacation to prolong a hopelessly lost game, you'll just need to wait until they move or run out of vacation, which is limited.
Vacation accrual was recently changed to lower levels. It's highly unlikely a per game vacation limit would be applied.

A daily chess match is expected to last multiple days, as you said yours is lasting months, it would be unreasonable for one to not be allowed to look at opening books and such as that is one of the main ways of studying

I play a lot of Daily Games, and I often suffer from a method of time cheating.Right now, I have an opponent who regularly goes on vacation as his 24-hour time limit runs low. He’ll wait until he has an hour or less to make a move, then he goes into Vacation Mode for a few days, comes back with a fresh 24 hours and repeats the cycle. He's done this numerous times during our game, which began on March 30, 2026. As of today, May 24, 2026, we’re only on move 10 because of his time cheating. This is not an isolated case, either. At any given time, I'm playing 6 to 8 Daily games and encounter 4 or 5 cheaters who abuse the Vacation button every year. I’ve complained numerous times to Chess Dot Com but they ignore me. So I guess they’re okay with this form of cheating.
I suggest revising the whole Vacation Mode concept in daily games. Right now, everyone gets 30 days of vacation, something I don’t understand. Why not give each player 3 vacation days per game? That way, players can avoid penalties if they have to travel during a game while stopping this method of cheating the clock.
