Tournament tie break points

I am not clear on how "tie break" points are achieved. I am in a tournament currently, that is made of groups of 4 and top 2 advance. I have won 4 of 6 with 2 left to finish and my tournament score is 4 points and 0 tie break. I see that another player  in another group has 6 wins and 12 tie break points. I dont understand how he has earned tie break points and  I have not. I could use some education on this matter.

ya I already used "help" and FAQ. I just dont understand fully. I should have tie break points already the way I read that link.

Which tournament? Looking at your current online games, I see you're in the first round of a tournament, no one should have time break points yet.

Oh wait, I get it now. You don't have any tie break points because the only games in your group that are finished are four that you've played.

I'm in the WallyJack tournament. Ok that makes sense....Thanks for help with that.
