USCF List

Sort:
batgirl

I'm looking for a list, recent within a couple years, of all USCF member ratings (preferably divided into men/women).  Can anyone get me such a list or tell me where I can get it?  Not being a USCF member, I'm somewhat limited in my options.

I don't know that it can be gender-specific, but see uschess.org, and click on Players and Ratings.

Thanks.  But through the USCF site, I can find a patricular player and  certain, very limited lists, but not a full listing.  It's the full listing I'm trying to attain.

I think you have to have a tournament affiliation to do that, and I haven't had one of those in about 25+ years, honey!

Well, I'm hoping someone will have the accessibility that I lack.  Thanks.

Me too.  Hey, are you ever going to Friend me?

Me?  I don't participate in that "friend" thingy.

Thanks.  I'm more interested in active players. But I also need it in digital form since I don't really want to input 10,000 names and ratings.

sigh...I have a lot of special requirements....

Batgirl,

At the USCF site you can find the top players by state.
http://main.uschess.org/datapage/top-players.php

By choosing all states you can get up to 1'000 players for each query.
If you don't give a rating limit you'll only get the strongest players but for the second query you can give as rating limit the rating of the weakest player returned by the previous query, you can then repeat this procedure as many times as necessary to get at the bottom of the list.
It may be quite time consuming though, and you won’t get the player gender.

Why not contact the USCF and tell them for what you need the information? It might be easier to get it, if you are fine with anonymized data.

If you've already found what you want, never mind.  If you haven't, the USCF's rating lists by name, rating, and gender are public.  If you'll tell me exactly what you want and a brief "why," we can probably help you cut through trying to get that information from the USCF's MSA.  Feel free to email me at gary@wwiplaw.com.  (Galewa is Gary L.
