Confused & a little upset. Started a daily tournament or 2 yesterday. Brought up a game, I was white. Played 1.b4. Brought up another game with another player. I swear it showed me as white so I played my usual 1.b4 again & moved on. Log in today & see my games show I had not moved yet in my game as white with the second player & had played 1...g5 in response to 1.d4 as black??? I didn't even see a game starting as black yesterday. I resigned. Wasn't going to waste my time & energy starting with a mess like that. So what happened. Are there ever glitches that could account for that sort of thing? Was my brain just so fogged I didn't see what I thought I saw? Had just got home from work & I admit I'm not perfect. I can & do make mistakes. I swear I thought I was opening as white though. I always reply to 1.d4 with ...e6 offering a French or going Indian or QGD. NOT by throwing away a pawn with my 1st move! At a loss to explain what happened. I know what I saw or honestly thought I saw yesterday, but it surely isn't what I saw today.
I see two active games where you played b4 yesterday.
