Chess.com, according to THIS (their own) page, uses 40 moves as it's moves/game basis (not 60).
Using that standard, 2/1 would be bullet. 2/2 would be blitz.

That's exactly the information that was needed, thanks a lot.
On chess.com, bullet is <3 minutes, blitz is <15 minutes, and standard is everything else. In OTB play, bullet is the same, blitz is from 3-10 minutes, rapid is from 10-60 minutes, and standard is from >30 minutes.
is 15 min still blitz

15:00 with no increment should count as rapid on this site, whereas 14:59 with no increment is likely blitz.
LOL I do know that 3/0 means blitz but,,,,,,,,just exactly what does the "3" mean and what does the "0" mean?
what exactly does 3/0 mean?
3 divided by 0 is undefined.
In 3|0 blitz, the first number in front of the | sign, "3" is the number of minutes each player has at the start of the game (the "starting time"), while the second number "0" is the amount of seconds added to a player's clock after the completion of his/her turn (the "increment").
2|1 is bullet and 3|0 is blitz.
Good point. Maybe some staff member could clear up on that. Even if there is no explicit information given as a game is created, it sure would be nice to at least be able to reliably calculate which rating category a specific time control belongs to.
