what is kasporavs strength right now?
Seems he's keeping up with 'The Kids' in blitz fairly convincingly, I'm guessing he would be still able to hold his own in classical time controls if 1) he seriously trained for 4 to 6 months, 2) found he still had the stamina and nerves. Garry seems to still have an interest and a hand in top level chess and his well to draw from is pretty deep. Maybe not WC again but I'm thinking top 10 rated in a year from 'coming out' again. When do you get turfed off the ratings list if you retire? Do they devalue your rating if you don't play for a period of time?

I think that players who retire from play, but continue to coach or officiate still have ratings on the FIDE site even if they aren't put on the top 100 list. I don't think FIDE ever lowers the ratings of inactive players.
yeah, be serious. he's moved on to women chess player lifting & is trying to beat ben's record.
