"Genius"

Capablanca

Got the openings wrong :/

chessbond001

in my case,it has shown correct openings for white and black. as i play ruy lopez as white and sicilan defence as black.

according to the test, i am "natural" much like the ex-world champoin vishy anand.

jdcannon

DId you notice it recommends the ruy lopez for almost every personality?

I took the test twice: there were some questions I could have answered either way so I took it once answering one way, and again answering the other way.

I got Krammnik the first time and Botvinnik the second time. It recommended me the English as white which I have never played.

Ben_Dubuque

I took it 3 times alternating a few answers that could have gone either way, and was honest about the rage quiting one

here were the results

Ivanchuck

well, what's the use if you are taking the same test again and altering the answer? instead you must be honest and attempt the test only once.

anyways, who am i to say all such things to you.

do what you want *sigh*

Move aside folks...Barbarian coming through! Cool

Lucidish_Lux

Surgeon, Grinder. Not sure what to think about that.

Ben_Dubuque

I took it multiple times because there were a few answers that could have gone either way.

Yeah but your first choice, your impulse, your 'preference' so to speak, defines what you are. isn't it?

Ben_Dubuque

very true, I thought I would be comparative to say someone from the romantic era because I hardly care about if my play is correct by a computer's standpoint, as long as I can create a piece of art every now and then I am happy even if I loose.

Napoleon_IV

Anaconda, like Nimzovith, the openings were right, very interesting test.

Well I don't know if I am a romantic secretly or not, but being attached to your queen surely does count as being one! For in truth, us amateurs, can't play a game with a straight head after exchanging queens! To be honest, I am working really hard to play games specifically without the queens on board...You gotta learn to use your minor pieces optimally won't you agree?

Ben_Dubuque

actually without my queen I feel more comfortable because I seem to be ok with only my minors, and I will sometimes look at ways to get rid of my queen (not in real life of course, but thats a different story)

Ben_Dubuque

either that or I like my minors more as they can be worth more than a quen if used correctly so I try to make sure I don't touch my queen until I need to

streetking1986

Imagine if your 'queen' was reading this Foot in Mouth

streetking1986

On a side note - You want to play a three day game? just getting an itch...

ThrillerFan

It doesn't work.

Question 1 - Answered White

Second Question - Clicking A until my face turns blue - Doesn't do anything, doesn't go to the next question, anything.  Link/Button is broken!

it may be an issue with your browser. Try using a different one; I used Chrome. Hope it helps....
